She turns her sword over to the heroes, explaining that it is the only artifact that can kill the Slaad Lord. When the dragon arrives, he reveals vital information before dying at the hands of the heroes: he tells them they are being manipulated by the Slaad. The heroes discover that the Slaad Lord is amassing an army to sweep across Faerun. A massive showdown ensues. The Slaad Lord is defeated and balance isrestored between the two warring armies. But the Githyanki are not happy. The heroes possess their greatest general’s artifact sword… but that is another story.
