Store Policies

The Prompt and Courteous service of The General Store Keeper is the policy of this company.

  • Refunds – First and foremost we want you as our customer to feel safe in making your purchase and in being satisfied with the purchase that you have made at our stores or outlets. Refunds are immediately processed if you immediately (within 3 hours of your purchase) contact the General Store by email or fax. All non government or non commercial orders without a correct billing address phone number will be verified by mail by the same process as orders with different bill to and ship to addresses.
    1. All returns, refunds and questions must be directed to the General Store Keeper at generalstorekeeper@worldwidegeneralstore.com. Refunds are credited promptly.
    2. For all local business and government purchases within Fannin, Lamar, Red River, Delta, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus counties (and the cities of Dallas, Ft. Worth and Tyler) we will pick up all returns with the RMA form that we provide on our retail website.
    3. If you call for a refund after 48 hours, and your item has shipped from the supplier, you will have to return the item to the supplier or our office suite before we can refund your payment. Item 2 is the exception to this rule.
    4. All refunds must be processed within 30 days.
    5. Damaged items cannot be returned. All shipping damage must be directed to the shipping company.
    6. Rarely, items may be priced incorrectly. If you purchase one of these items you will receive a full refund and an offer for a 10% discount on any World Wide General Store item not already on sale.

·         Returns – ALL returns MUST be accompanied by (THIS RMA form, click here for form) by FAX or EMAIL AFTER you have put your item in the mail. You MUST provide a TRACKING number for your item. When we receive the item you will receive a refund for the item, including a refund for standard shipping cost of the item. All items must be in original package and undamaged. Defective and undamaged items can be returned.

  • Shipping
    1. What are the shipping rates? Our web site automatically computes and displays shipping charges whenever you place an item in your shopping basket. Additional Shipping Details
      • Items are usually shipped within 48 hours after your order is placed.
      • Please note our warehouses do not ship on weekends and we do not offer Saturday, Sunday or holiday delivery.
      • Tracking information provided when available, usually within 24 hours of shipment.
      • Chemicals and Hazardous materials will be shipped ground shipment.
      • World Wide General Store’s policy on mismatches between the bill to and ship to addresses is that we now accept different bill to and ship to addresses for the convenience of our civilian individual customers.
      • If the ship to and bill to addresses are different, we will verify both by email and US mail that the person residing at the the billing address authorized the purchase.
      • Any attempt, by an individual customer to ship to an address that is DIFFERENT from the cardholder’s billing address is accepted however because criminals routinely use stolen credit cards to send items to themselves read our policy on shipping to addresseses different from the billing address.
      • Due to email and US mail verification of the order with the card holder, rush orders only apply to orders that are delivered to the billing address.
      • US Government, Military, Law Enforcement and their authorized contractors and commercial entities may have their goods shipped to any address different from the billing address, without delay, within the parameters of any contract agreement.

Whats Included?

        • Please allow for extra delivery time for non expedited shipping. Delivery to a residence anywhere in the contiguous 48 states within 10 to 15 business days.
        • You must provide us with a valid bill to and ship to phone number when placing your order, as carriers may need to schedule the delivery with you.

Shipping Times

Most of our orders are shipped within 24-48 hours, except orders shipping to an address different from the billing address, these items will be verified by email and US mail prior to shipping. Tracking information is available within 24 hours of shipment. Most of our standard orders arrive within 3 - 4 business days. Expedited orders arrive at the time you specify. For larger items, and specially manufactured items please allow up to 15 business days for your item to arrive. We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Please allow an additional 24 to 48 hours for weekend orders.

Do you ship internationally?

World Wide General Store limits ALL non commercial unverified international orders to United States Military and United States Government ONLY, unless the law and policy of the United States prevents shipping to these locations regardless of recipient.

We are currently unable to ship or bill to U.S. Territories, unless the recipient is one of the mentioned exceptions.

Order Tracking Has my order shipped? We e-mail tracking numbers on all orders usually within 24 to 48 hours of shipment. Delivery times are based upon whether you have ordered express shipping or not. Standard shipping usually takes 3-10 business days for delivery.

Can I track my order? We e-mail tracking numbers on all orders usually within 24 hours of shipment. Along with the tracking number, we provide a link to the carriers Web page to assist in your tracking.

My order never arrived? If you have received a tracking number and your order never arrived in accordance to the shipping carriers estimated delivery date, please contact us at generalstorekeeper@worldwidegeneralstore.com and we will assist you in locating your order. If you have not received a tracking number: Has it been 15 business days since your order was confirmed? NO : Please wait the 15 business day period prior to contacting us. YES : Please contact us generalstorekeeper@worldwidegeneralstore.comAn item is missing from my order? Most of our products are shipped from a central warehouse. However, there are times that orders contain products that are shipped from multiple warehouses. If you believe that an item is missing from your shipment: Please verify that the missing item is identified on the receipt located inside the shipping box. Please note, only items shipped are printed on the packing list and charged on your credit card. If an item in your order is not in stock, we will notify you via email on the backorder and we will refund your credit card for that item if you do not want us to wait for or substitute the item.     2. I received the wrong product If you have received the wrong product, wrap and ship your item, fill out and submit an RMA form, and contact us here generalstorekeeper@worldwidegeneralstore.com
    3. Billing & Payment What payment methods do you offer?
      • We accept Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Paypal express, Google Checkout, Money Orders and Electronic and Paper Checks.
      • Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number--the address and phone number your credit card company has on file for you. Incorrect information WILL cause our security system to decline your credit card and will cause a delay in processing your order.
      • We never bill for credit card service fees.
      • We are currently unable to process any credit cards that are issued or billed outside of the United States.
      • You can be confident that your personal and account information is secure with us. We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all parts of our site that require any personal information. Please read our Security Policy for more information.
      • If your bill to and ship to addresses are different or your phone number is incorrect we will verify the order by email and US mail before we ship the item.

When will my credit card be charged? As soon as the order is placed.

Do I have to pay sales tax? We charge 8.25% sales tax for orders shipped to Texas only. Because we are government contractors we will NOT charge sales tax at the time of the sale HOWEVER non exempt persons or organizations in the state of Texas WILL be charged 8.25% when the transaction is processed.

I need a copy of my receipt/invoice. Immediately after submitting your order, we display your invoice/receipt. Please print this invoice/receipt out for your records.   • Packaging
    1. A small amount of our inventory is from suppliers that sell small items in cases (e.g. incense, perfume etc.). These items are not sold individually. The price that you will see on our site will reflect the case price. If the price in our mail order catalog shows the individual price it will always be the case price that will be the final retail price.
  • Use of social media

1.      World Wide General Store ONLY posts links to articles and statements flattering to and informative about the US Government, the US Military and US first responders (Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Paramedics, EMTs, etc.). If any agency believes that WWGS has inadvertently posted information of an unflattering nature is encouraged to contact the general store keeper at generalstorekeeper@worldwidegeneralstore.com.

  • Fraud and Theft

Because we have a VERY LIBERAL refund policy, IF, for any reason, anyone processes a charge back for any item purchased from World Wide General Store Corporation you must:

    1. Call the General Store and notify us of the charge back.
    2. File a police report for fraudulent activity on your credit card.
    3. Provide the General Store IN WRITING by FAX OR EMAIL with the name of the investigating officer and the case number of the report. The general store will provide any help that we can to prosecute anyone who has used your card in a fraudulent manner.
  • Privacy
    1. The General Store will NEVER share your information with ANYONE for ANY reason. Your information is only used for communication between you and the General Store.
    2. A word about the World Wide General Store Privacy policy:

Our privacy policy is intended to protect legitimate customers from unscrupulous spammers, identity thieves and unreasonable government oversight, searches and seizures.

HOWEVER, the key word is unreasonable. If possible fraud is detected (e.g. possible stolen credit card use or theft of our items), this company will cooperate with law enforcement as completely as the law allows and requires of us. If the bill to and shop to addresses are not the same or the telephone number provided with the order is not correct, the card holder at BILLING ADDRESS WILL recieve all of the information that that is provided to us at the time of the transaction. If you are a family member please obtain permission from the card holder before you use the card, he or she will find out anyway. If you are a criminal, and you have used a stolen credit card for your purchase, you are out of luck, the cardholder will recieve all of the information used in the order and will verify and okay(or deny and report)the order before the item is shipped. For these reasons, we cannot emphasize enough that you not use a stolen credit card at this store, doing so may make for a very bad day and a visit from a grumpy local officer friendly, followed by a lot of confusion, explaining and other unpleasant situations.
